Rather than explaining the concept of unisex through words, we show it through the structure of the material itself.

beautiful people's selvedge denim runs 12oz for right-hand twill and 10.5oz for left-hand twill as its standard weights. Everything is made in Japan. From the right-hand twill which is made in Fukuyama, Hiroshima, to the left-hand twill from Kojima in Kuradhiki, Okayama. The weaving, sewing, and finishing are all carried out in the Sanbi region.

Our denim is made from scratch, slowly woven on old-style shuttle looms.

In recent years, denim fabric without selvedge, woven on high-speed looms, has become mainstream, prioritizing production efficiency and fabric yield. Old-style shuttle looms, by contrast, can only weave at roughly one-tenth the speed of high-speed looms and produce a narrow fabric width of about 73cm. But weaving at that slower speed on old shuttle looms creates a distinctive character: fine, subtle unevenness and texture appear on the surface og the fabric. That surface texture creates areas that rub more and less during wear, producing the rich fading (atari) that's part of denim's appeal.

Our signature deep indigo color is finished with a treatment applied to the original selvedge that makes it resistant to fading. By deliberately treating a fabric usually associated with a casual setting, our denim keeps a clean look even after years of wear.

私たちのデニムは、旧式のシャトル織機でゆっくりと織り上げたオリジナルの素材です。近年は、生産効率や生地要尺を優先し、高速織機による耳のないデニム生地が主流となっています。一方で、旧式シャトル織機は、高速織機の10分の1ほどの低速度でしか織ることができず、約73cmと細い生地幅しか生産できません。しかし、低速度の旧式シャトル織機で織り上げることで、独特の味わいが生まれます。生地表面に微細なムラや凹凸が生まれます。その表面の凹凸によって着用時に擦れる部分と擦れにくい部分が生まれ、デニムの魅力でもあるアタリ独特の色落ち（アタリ）による豊かな表情があらわれます。bpの定番である濃色のインディゴカラーは、オリジナルセルビッチに加工を施すことで、色落ちがしにくい仕様に仕上げています。カジュアルな印象が強いデニムにあえて加工を施すことで、長く愛用いただいてもクリーンな印象を保ちます。

We take great pride in the patterning and construction that fit the human body. Take for example, the blouson. Every seam line, including the shoulder seams and armholes, is sewn with a chain stitch. Compared to a lockstitch, it moves more readily with the body, flexing naturally around areas like the shoulders that take on strain when the arms move. As the garment is worn and washed repeatedly, puckering and fading develop around the seams, bringing the garment's structural lines into relief.

ブルゾンでは、肩線やアームホールなど、すべてのシームラインをチェーンステッチで縫い合わせています。本縫いに比べて身体の動きに追従しやすく、腕を動かした際に負荷がかかる肩まわりなどに柔軟になじみます。着用と洗いを重ねることで縫い目の周囲にパッカリングとアタリが生まれ、服の構造線を立体的に浮かび上がらせます。

beautiful people's quality can be felt in the attention to details. The zippers also incorporate the REDBLUE SELVEDGE element: red and blue stitching runs along the tape, which is woven on a power loom.

All hardware uses original components stamped with the brand logo. An original name tag is attached at the hip of the pants. It's made from cowhide and given a shrink-resistant treatment so it can withstand washing. The leather name tag also comes in white, black, and nume(raw-tanned) leather, chosen to suit the different colorways that appear each season, from indigo and black to garment-dyed pieces.

The buttons use a tack-button style called a neo-bar, an original component that incorporates the beautiful people brand logo in the manner of a decorative vintage button design. The rivets are likewise stamped with the brand logo. For treated denim, a white-gold color is also used, one that reveals the brass base beneath as it wears in, developing character over time.

ファスナーは、力織機で織り上げたテープ部分をに赤と青のステッチをはわせることで、ファスナーにもレッドブルーセルビッチの要素を取り入れています。すべての付属にはブランドロゴを刻印したオリジナル部材を使用しています。パンツのヒップには、オリジナルネームタグをつけています。牛革を使用し、洗濯にも対応できるように防縮加工を施しています。また、インディゴやブラック、製品染などシーズンごとに登場するさまざまなカラー展開に馴染むように、レザーネームタグも、白、黒、ヌメを使い分けています。釦（ボタン）は、ネオバーと呼ばれるタック釦を使用しています。beautiful peopleブランドロゴをヴィンテージ釦の装飾的なデザインのように取り入れたオリジナル部材です。リベットも同様にブランドロゴを刻印しています。また、加工デニムには履き込むほどに下地の真鍮色が見え、味が生まれるホワイトゴールドカラーも採用しています。
