"Side-C Vol.5" motional.
Instead of pads or corsets that are normally fixed inside the clothes, small beads are blown into Side-C, allowing the internal organs to circulate with the movement of the body. The company unveiled clothes whose silhouettes are defined by motion.
21PS
"Side-C Vol.4.5" (comma)
Completely new original padding is used to cover the body from the shoulders to the chest, and the presence of normally hidden pocket pockets, the back of the knees, and the bodysuit and corset that are placed between the body and the clothes are designed on the front with stitching. The new Side-C has a design that makes you feel the presence of the inside when viewed from the outside, without changing the silhouette.
20AW
"Side-C Vol.4" Intimate
An item inspired by an invisible yet important element: building materials. By evolving the Side-C technique and allowing the clothes to decompose and peel off, we have expanded the range of movement of the clothes. We express the intimacy between the clothes and the body in the way that they feel, how they respond to movement, and the parts that cannot be seen with the eye.
20PF
“Side-C Vol.3.5” OK/NOT OK
The collection showcases the diversity of men's and women's clothing to suit the multitasking modern person. The clothes are saddle-stitched with a zipper(※) and can be freely transformed into a zip-up hoodie or a pullover hoodie. Shirts and dresses that create new silhouettes by changing the length of the third piece between the front and back. These jackets and pants take advantage of the color, overlapping, and silhouette of the fabric, and can be turned inside out to reveal the hidden C-side (the inside of the front, the inside of the inside) and give the garment a variety of different looks.
※What is Donden/Saddle Stitching? The act of covering a futon with a sheet (tying it on the inside and turning it inside out) is the same concept as the "donden" technique used in clothing tailoring.

"Side-C Vol.3" Sunrise/Sunset
Just like the colour of the sky changes throughout the 24 hours, one piece of clothing changes in 24 different ways. By connecting the front and back of the garment in reverse, there are now three holes through which the body passes, instead of the usual one. Furthermore, by turning each piece over and changing which side is on the outside, Side-C can be worn in 24 different ways.
20PS
"Side-C Vol.2.5" Facing/Lining
We propose "Side-C that can be worn on an everyday basis." The idea of Side-C is that the front (side A) and back (side B) can be seen at the same time, creating a new look (side C). Uniforms (military items, workwear, items commonly worn by modern women) are reborn in a new form. This collection evolves Side-C, which was expressed in 19AW, and leads into 20SS.
19AW
“Side-C Vol.2” Skin/Organs
The large panel print textiles express the internal organs and blood vessels of the human body, which we do not normally see, with flowers and branches, so that you do not become aware of the space between the front and back of the clothes. This collection is both conceptual and wearable. The design approach, which includes saddle stitching, separate liners, and shared front and back, allows the wearer to freely choose the side they want to wear. It proposes new possibilities that encompass everything from construction to deconstruction, conservative to modern.
19PF
"The 27 Club"
The collection is inspired by people whose lives stopped at the age of 27, such as Kurt Cobain, Brian Jones, and Jimi Hendrix. We discovered a common beauty among these personalities, who are all different in age and personality.
- 2018
-
19SS
"Side-C"
This is the first collection created by focusing on the inside of clothing - the bag-like space between the outer and lining fabrics. By doing away with the concept of a front and back that are usually sewn back at the edges and instead sharing the front and back, this collection has created a new structure that gives infinite possibilities for the outfits that can be created from a single piece of clothing. The name "Side-C" comes from the idea that we should go beyond the dualistic ideas of the front and back of clothing, or the destruction and reconstruction of the deconstruction that has continued since the 90s, and is a declaration of our determination to go beyond that. It is also inspired by the idea that there could be a new Side C between the A and B sides of a record.
19PS
"Sepia/Polaroid"
The image sources are the classic image of sepia photography and the modern world of Polaroid photography. The front of the fabric is printed with a pattern of young leaves, and the back with a pattern of diseased leaves (warakuba), expressing the passage of time with a single piece of fabric. For the checked fabric, the pattern is changed only on the edge to create a two-tone color scheme, which becomes a design point when the fabric is made into clothing, proposing clothes that can only be made with original textiles.
18AW
"Bias (/)"
A concept that continues from 18PF, where polar opposites coexist. Masculine items such as duffle coats, pea coats, trench coats, riders and military coats are cut on the bias to create feminine silhouettes. We present classics you've never seen before.
18PF
"WRAP"
It's like wrapping your whole body together to complete a look. A collection that combines elements of ethnic costumes, monk's robes, pareos and tailored wear.

18SS
"Make Love"
X and Y, Y and X. By turning a buttonhole inside out, undoing a zipper, or deconstructing and combining two things, they are reborn as one new thing. Adding a new concept and vector to layering, we propose a multi-layered, four-dimensional coordination in which two items are intertwined and layered. The idea is like Othello, where the lining and outer fabric, the inner dress and the overdress, coexist in one piece.
18PS
"ROYAL / PUNK"
It combines elements of elegant Princess Diana and British gentlemen with the punk fashion of the 1970s punk band the Sex Pistols. Although he has two ears, the designer has proposed Piercings A Trois, which is made by dismantling and reassembling the three letters "S," "E," and "X," inspired by a punk fashion boutique on London's Kings Road.
17AW
"WAFUKU"
Debut collection in Paris. Combining opposing elements: "Japanese clothing" and "Western clothing", "Tokyo POP (neo-gal) monster colors" and "Parisian chic BCBG". A foldable trench coat designed to take advantage of the straight lines and folding lines of traditional Japanese clothing, belts of various materials and widths inspired by layered obi sashes, The collection includes shirts and blousons made with circular patterns inspired by cotton hats.

16PF
"I wanna be..."
This is the 10th season since their debut. Based on the same concept as before, they explored new possibilities by trying out the "bias cut" style, which is considered difficult to achieve with ready-to-wear clothing. They also developed "men's clothing for women," offering the same items in radically different sizes, and the collection expanded on the unique interpretations of basic items that are synonymous with Beautiful People.

"OLD TRICK"
"Vintage Taking the theme of "mania" even further, this collection focuses on the techniques used on the inside of clothing to create the structured silhouettes of couture, studying the "things" and "mechanisms" that are placed on the inside of clothing - techniques that are still used today - horsehair, bones, gathers placed on the inside, and cutting methods that create a three-dimensional effect.
16PS
"Vintage mania"
Based on materials of vintage wear that has survived the test of time, from the 1920s to the 1980s, the collection is based on the concept of not narrowing down the theme or era, but rather looking at a wide range of eras, following the flow of time and searching for clues that connect to the present.
15AW
"Extra virgin"
Further refining the PF theme of "virgin," the brand explored the possibilities of natural materials and drew on the natural beauty of plants and animals to create a rich, luxurious collection that is full of Beautiful People's signature humor.
15PF
"virgin"
The theme is to create something that nobody has ever touched before. The keyword "virgin" is used to create a range of basic items made from pure materials.

15SS
"LOVE ALL"
The collection was created based on images of tennis players with a free-spirited atmosphere typical of the 1970s, such as the long-haired Bjorn Borg who was active in the 1970s. The show was held at the historic Meiji Jingu Gaien Tennis Club, which was founded in 1926.
15PS
"EVOLUTION"
Since its debut, the brand has been thinking about "being better today than yesterday" and "creating something universal with a new and unique way of thinking," which has led to the evolution of classics and even the evolution of universality. The collection expresses the atmosphere of Audrey Hepburn from "Breakfast at Tiffany's," and features items that have elements of the movie's heroine in them, such as the timeless classic Sabrina pants and a shirt dress that looks like the one Audrey wore while relaxing at home.
14AW
"Across the Universe"
The Beatles held a concert called "Rooftop Singing" on the roof of the Apple building in London, England in January 1969. The inspiration for this collection came from the footage of the band's guerrilla live performance at the band's "The Concert." The collection was created by being drawn to all the images and stories depicted in the footage, including the band members and the curious onlookers who appeared. The design team themselves performed at the show, shocking the audience. Beautiful people.”

"The beautiful people"

The show will be held at Yoyogi Village. by kurukku. It was as if a star had suddenly appeared in the city.
14PS
"She's a Rainbow"
"She's a rainbow" is "rolling stones" The song was released in 1967 and is said to describe the shock Mick Jagger felt when he fell in love with Marianne Faithfull at first sight. The colorful and nostalgic collection was inspired by the late 60s and early 70s, which is the designer's favorite period in terms of both music and fashion.
13AW
"Whole Lotta Love"
The project was presented in two parts, a salon show and an installation, with a live jazz band playing at the cigar bar "Maduro" in the Grand Hyatt Tokyo hotel, with the theme of "Full of Love." At the end of the installation, the band "The "beautiful people" appeared on stage and performed. A short movie was also produced that shows the members' rehearsals and backstage scenes, which are different from the usual collection videos.
13PF
"Smoking"
Yves Saint Laurent's 1966 release, "LE This collection is inspired by "SMOKING", a style representative of Yves Saint Laurent, which proposed masculine tailoring as evening wear for women. Until now, the collection has often been created with a childish image, but this time, the image is of adult tastes and actions that are only permitted for adults, and the concept is not just "SMOKING" in the fashion sense, but literally "SMOKING". This collection is based on Beautiful People's unique wordplay and humor.

"EDOMAE TRAD"
This collection was created with the theme of "Edomae Trad," with the aim of taking Tokyo fashion one step further by further refining the "iki" (spirit) that we learned from Tora-san in "Otoko wa Tsurai yo."
13PS
"It's Tough Being a Man"
A collection themed on Tora-san from "Otoko wa Tsurai yo." A double-breasted jacket made from women's suit fabric draped over the shoulders, a belly warmer over a sax blue baggy shirt, and snow geta sandals with snakeskin straps on the feet. The design incorporates the traditional Japanese spirit of "iki" (coolness) from Tora-san's style that everyone knows.
12W
"NO TENKI II"
Pre-announced NO Exploring the TENKI theme further, this collection explores the fun that can be created by combining opposing elements, such as a surf T-shirt made from Shetland knit with an intarsia stitch, and a Melton coat with a pineapple pattern, incorporating summer motifs into winter items.
12PF
"NO TENKI"
sprit of The concept is perversity. The collection is unique in that it goes beyond the boundaries of casual and dressy styles, being basic yet new, fashionable yet unfashionable, conventional yet unorthodox, and conventional yet conventional. It proposes items that make you feel like it's summer even in winter, made with unusual combinations (combinations that would not make sense in the normal sense), such as palm tree patterned Fair Isle knitwear and aloha patterned long sleeve dresses.

"Gingiragin and Sarigenaku"
The collection incorporates circus, tiger and pajamas, giving it a flashy yet casual feel. It was inspired by a quote from Fitzgerald in Haruki Murakami's novel, "A great intellect is one that can embrace two opposing concepts at the same time and fully utilize both of them." The word "oxymoron" is a combination of the Greek words oxy (wise) and moron (foolish), and expresses the synergistic effect and feeling that is created by the fusion of opposing concepts through clothing.

"On the street."

"Norwegian Wood"
Beautiful images of the clothes depicted in Haruki Murakami's novel "Norwegian Wood" This is a collection that people has interpreted in their own way. The 3D technology used throughout the collection, with prints and embroidery that stand out when viewed through red and blue glasses, is a first for the industry. The idea for incorporating 3D into the collection came from the red and green cover of the novel "Norwegian Wood."

A collection that uses Jimi Hendrix as an icon to create an essence that contrasts with traditional and classic clothing. The line was created with patterns that were designed to allow the coexistence of a "soft, snug silhouette" for boys and a "soft, draped, feminine silhouette" for girls.
